Annual List of Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms Published by SIA

Mountain View, California — October 20, 2021 — Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has announced the 2021 List of Fastest-Growing US Staffing Firms. The 2021 list is sponsored by The Braff Group. This year, 52 companies qualified for inclusion on the annual list. There were 75 firms on last year’s list. The list ranks firms by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for staffing revenue from 2016 through 2020, excluding acquisitions.

To qualify for the list, companies needed to have had at least $1 million in staffing revenue in 2016 and at least 15% CAGR between 2016 and 2020. The median CAGR for the top 10 companies this year was 58.8%. For the full list, it was 26.1%.

“Congratulations to all of the 2021 Fastest-Growing companies on their strong performances and organic growth in a time of transformation for a staffing industry undergoing rapid change. As we usher in new workforces, new business models, new technologies and new ways of working, these fastest-growing companies are well-poised to rise to the challenges and opportunities in a competitive talent marketplace,” said Barry Asin, SIA President.

“As a result of the pandemic, healthcare staffing is on the precipice of extraordinary growth as battle weary providers seeking respite and flexibility flee full time positions to enter the temporary workforce,” said Dexter Braff, president of The Braff Group, a health care mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. “This has led to a surge in record breaking investment activity in the space as buyers look to capitalize on a long runway of outsized demand and attractive margins.”

New Jersey led the list as the state with the most company headquarters for firms on the list, with seven, followed by California, Nebraska and Florida with four each. IT was the most prevalent segment, with 20 firms operating in the space, while Healthcare was the second most common segment, counting 17 firms active in the space.

The largest companies (8) exceeding $300 million in revenue on the 2021 list include Aya Healthcare, ALKU, Compunnel Software Group,  Favorite Healthcare Staffing, Next Level Business Services, ProLink Staffing Services, Health Carousel, Rose International and US Tech Solutions.

The September/October 2021 issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine features interviews with executives and business leaders from the 10 fastest-growing staffing firms on growth and strategies for success. These profiles, along with the full list of the 52 fastest-growing companies for 2021, debuts on http://fastestgrowing.staffingindustry.com/ this week.
