Workforce Solutions Ecosystem 2024
Key Findings
- We estimate the Workforce Solutions Ecosystem was a $2.3 trillion global market in 2023. The ecosystem represents a wide range of products and services that an employer organization might wish to use to create and maintain the workforce that it needs to achieve its goals.
- The ecosystem is organized into six sectors which in turn each include a group of related segments and subsegments. This framework is used across SIA’s research.
- We are pleased to share that this year’s update to the Workforce Solutions Ecosystem is now available in an interactive tool. The tool aims to make it easier to look up and navigate between specific segments of the ecosystem. For each segment, the tool provides our business definition, brief market commentary, and when applicable, links to in-depth SIA reports related to that particular topic.
- Separately, but related, we track mergers and acquisitions related to staffing and workforce solutions companies in our interactive M&A database, that can be filtered according to the segments in this report. In terms of company valuation benchmarks, public company multiples are updated daily in our valuation database.
- Also separately, venture funding for startup and ongoing private companies can be found and analyzed in our Venture Capital in Workforce Solutions 2024 report. For the period 2021-2023, the report identifies 1600+ funding rounds worth $33 billion.
