Timothy Landhuis is vice president of research at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). He oversees a range of research studies, research products and presentations on behalf of SIA’s North America-based research team. Since joining SIA in 2011, Landhuis has authored reports such as the United States Staffing Industry Forecast, Largest Staffing Firms in the United States, the Staffing Industry Benchmarking Consortium (SIBC) Benchmarking Study and the Workforce Solutions Buyers Survey. This is in addition to reports on industrial staffing, education staffing and the Canadian staffing industry. Landhuis has guided the development of data tools on compensation rates, mergers and acquisitions, and staffing industry size and growth rates by occupation and geographic regions. He is a frequent presenter and moderator at industry conferences and events. Prior to joining SIA, Landhuis worked as a financial analyst and recruiter at leading firms in the semiconductor, software and financial services sectors. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Eoghan Doherty is a research analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), covering markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific (APAC). Since joining SIA in 2021, he has helped produce research on various topics, been involved in numerous webinars and hosted panels at the SIA’s annual Executive Forum Europe conference. He is the designated analyst for several staffing markets, including Australia and the Netherlands as well as the life sciences sector. Doherty graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Master of Science in statistics and a Bachelor of Science in financial mathematics. He previously worked as a support analyst in the healthcare sector. He is based in London.

Crystal Fullilove is a healthcare staffing analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). Her research coverage includes all aspects of healthcare staffing and workforce solutions. Fullilove graduated summa cum laude from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and minor in human resource management. Prior to joining SIA, Fullilove worked in human resources and healthcare staffing. She managed clinical traveler programs as well as managed service providers (MSPs) for large health systems within the United States.

Amy Horvat joined SIA as a research analyst in 2023. She covers the global IT and engineering and Latin American staffing markets as well as other topics as part of the Americas team. Horvat graduated magna cum laude from Marietta College with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in studio art. She has spent her career traversing industries at the juncture these disciplines and brings broad experience in market research, research, writing and publication to her work at SIA.

Michael Schultz joined Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) in March 2022 as a research analyst, providing dedicated coverage of industrial staffing. Schultz’s duties expanded to include coverage of the Canadian staffing industry, managing the Staffing Industry Benchmarking Consortium Survey, and several smaller reports such as the Staffing Executive Compensation Analysis as well as SIA’s monthly US Jobs Report articles. In 2024, Schultz was promoted to the role of economist, applying his professional and academic background to expand the range of analysis offered by SIA, such as publishing on the changing business cycle dynamics of the staffing industry. Prior to joining SIA, Schultz worked as an economist for 10 years at the Center for Automotive Research, an automotive industry nonprofit think tank. Schultz’s automotive work covered topics ranging from corporate taxation and international trade policy to the impacts of consumer incentives and charging infrastructure expansion on electric vehicle adoption. His work was quoted in national and international press as well as shaped business strategy and public policy for multinational enterprises, industry associations, and also local, state, provincial and national governments. Schultz has a Master of Arts in economics from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Michigan State University’s James Madison College. His graduate-level academic work focused on econometric methods as well as the analysis of state and local economic development programs. His undergraduate work focused on international political economy and international conflict.

Curtis Starkey is a senior research analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), joining the company in mid-2019. Starkey’s research coverage includes the information technology skill segment, SIA’s Pulse Survey and Buyer Survey, as well as other topics. His unique variety of experiences include those in research and finance as well as freelance roles in the gig economy. Starkey worked as a writer and editor for bilingual magazines. He studied Mandarin in Taiwan prior to joining SIA. Starkey has a Bachelor of Science in finance from Bradley University and a Master of Science in financial analysis from the University of San Francisco.
