ZIGExN H1 revenue edges up 9.5%, EBITDA also rises

ZIGExN (TYO: 3679), a self-styled ‘Life Service Platform’, reported revenue on 7 November of JPY 12.27 billion (USD 79.7 million) for the six months ended 30 September 2024, up 9.5% when compared to the same period a year ago.

EBITDA increased by 10.8%.

ZIGExN operates a number of specialist recruitment brands and HR services alongside other online services.

Earlier this year in April 2024, ZIGExN announced that it concluded an agreement to acquire the Minaoshi business of Minaoshi Co., Ltd, also based in Japan.

In August 2024, the group acquired Hoken Mammoth, a Tokyo-based company involved in the insurance consultation service and events businesses.

ZIGExN shares closed on 7 November at JPY 616.00 (USD 4.00), up 8.45% on the day and 9.01% below its 52-week high of JPY 677.00 (USD 4.40), set on 16 May 2024. The company has a market cap of JPY 63.45 billion (USD 412.2 million).
