Wipro reports Q3 revenue rises, increase in large deal bookings

Revenue at Wipro (NYSE: WIT) rose 0.5% year over year to 223.2 billion Indian rupees (US$2.6 billion) in its fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024. Revenue was up 0.1% sequentially, which was above the upper end of guidance, the company said.
“In a seasonally weak quarter, our strong in-quarter execution helped us deliver above the top end of our revenue guidance,” CEO and Managing Director Srini Pallia said in a press release.
The Bangalore, India-headquartered IT services provider reported large deal bookings rose 6.0% year over year in constant currency to $961 million.
Wipro issued guidance for IT services revenue in the fourth quarter of down 1.0% to up 1.0% in constant currency.
