WDB Holdings Co. Ltd (2475: TYO), a Japanese holding company whose portfolio includes staffing firms, reported revenue on 7 February increased by 4.2% in the nine month period ended 31 December 2024 to JPY 38.83 billion (USD 255.3 million).

WDB Holdings is mainly engaged in the manpower dispatching business. The company operates in two business segments. The Human Resource Service segment is engaged in the work of client customers mainly through temporary staffing and contracting contracts. The CRO (contract research organisation) business segment acts on and supports experimental work in basic research of pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, cosmetics and development work after clinical trial.

Revenue in the human resource service business was up 2.3% over the year. In the CRO business, revenue increased 15.7%.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 51.80 billion (USD 340.5 million) for the year ended 31 March 2025.

WDB Holdings shares closed at JPY 1,761.00 (USD 11.58), up 0.63% on the day and 18.99% above the 52-week low of JPY 1,480.00 (USD 9.73) set on 5 August 2024. The company has a market cap of JPY 35.11 billion (USD 230.8 million).
