UK-based LGBTQ+ talent and networking platform myGwork has secured a new investment, bringing its total funding to more than US$4 million over the past four years.
The company did not disclose the latest investment amount. However, myGwork said the additional capital will fund the company’s international expansion and enhance its business, including e-learning, recruitment and employer branding services.
The funding round was led by entrepreneur Phil Hollingdale, who invested in myGwork in 2023. Along with several other associates, he invested £1 million (US$1.2 million) in growth capital to support the company’s expansion in the UK and overseas, myGwork said.
“With this latest investment, we are well positioned to expand internationally, enhance our offerings and empower even more businesses and professionals to build truly inclusive environments,” Hollingdale said in a press release on 12 March.
Hollingdale was named chairman of myGwork and will provide strategic guidance, oversee governance and support the company’s sustainable growth and innovation, myGwork said.
The company also announced other key leadership appointments, naming Sarah Willcocks as managing director, Richard Egginton as chief technology officer and Charlie Eva as business development manager.
Meanwhile, myGwork said it had experienced a 120% surge in traffic from American job seekers following US President Donald Trump’s executive order banning diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in the federal government, highlighting the growing demand for inclusive workplaces.
“This latest investment and the addition of exceptional leadership talent demonstrates myGwork’s resilience and continued success even in the face of growing challenges to DEI efforts — particularly in the US,” Adrien Gaubert and Pierre Gaubert, co-founders of myGwork, said in a statement.
