UK – Recruitment software company Alvius acquires job board

London-based recruitment software company Alvius, announced that it has acquired UK Startup Jobs for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2011, UK Startup Jobs is a job board with a community of 10,000 job seekers, headquartered in Edinburgh. The job board specialises in advertising a wide range of positions at high growth UK businesses to candidates with a range of experience levels. 
This move marks Alvius’ first acquisition. It will see Alvius further strengthen its position in the start-up recruitment space as it secures access to a greater pool of relevant clients and candidates. The company provides workforce management software (combining VMS and ATS) and a talent pooling product.
Tom Davenport, Managing Director of Alvius, said, “We already have considerable crossover in terms of both clients and candidates, so believe that there are significant gains to be made in the platforms supporting one another. Many employers posting on one platform will soon benefit from the reach of both platforms. This acquisition consolidates our position as a key supplier of talent to the UK startup ecosystem.”
