TrueBlue Inc. (NYSE: TBI), a Tacoma, Washington-based industrial staffing and RPO provider, today announced that it closed the previously announced sale of the Canadian staffing business of its PeopleReady division to Vertical Staffing Resources, a staffing firm headquartered in Brampton, Ontario.

The deal, first announced in February, enables TrueBlue to increase its focus on its core operations and growth opportunities in US staffing and global RPO.

TrueBlue will continue to serve Canada through its Staff Management | SMX and PeopleScout brands.

Vertical Staffing Resources provides services to several sectors including industrial, clerical, engineering/construction, professional/IT, executive and medical.
