True, the sixth-largest executive search firm in the US, acquired Paradigm Search, a San Francisco-based executive search provider. Paradigm founder and CEO Matt Johnson and the rest of the Paradigm team will join True’s “product, data and technology” practice.

“Matt and the Paradigm team have an excellent and well-deserved reputation in the executive search market,” Brad Stadler, president of True Search and co-CEO of True Platform, said in a press release. “From our first conversation, this felt like such a natural fit. They are exceptional search professionals who will enhance our culture and our ability to deliver value to clients.”

Paradigm was founded in 2021. Johnson began the firm after spending more than a decade at executive search firm Daversa, where he placed C-suite engineering and product roles for clients such as Slack, Snowflake and Snapchat.

“Joining forces means expanding our offerings globally, beyond placing executives to helping clients think about leadership teams more holistically, including training and retention,” Johnson said in a press release.

True has been contacted for more information.

True is based in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Its operations include True Search, which provides executive search; TrueBridge, a provider of advisory, interim and fractional executive placement; Thrive, talent CRM software; True Advance, coaching and assessment; SearchEssentials, tech-enabled hiring services; AboveBoard, inclusive executive community; and Jopwell, a diversity tech platform for early to midcareer professionals.
