The Access Group announced on 31 October it has acquired HireAra, a UK-based AI-powered candidate presentation platform that automates the process of formatting and presenting candidate CVs/resumes for recruiters.
HireAra was founded in 2022. The London-based startup said its AI-powered candidate presentation platform automates the creation of formatted CVs, spec CVs, client cover sheets and candidate assessment packs. To date, over a million candidates have been presented using the platform.
The Access Group is a UK-based provider of business management software to mid-market organisations in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific. Its acquisition of HireAra expands its capabilities in AI-driven talent management and strengthens its recruitment operating system (RecOS) offering.
“We’re not only going to be equipped with the resources and expert support we need to scale the team and further improve our platform to better serve our customers’ needs, but we’re also gaining access to a huge, global network of knowledge,” said Thomas Vose, CEO and co-founder of HireAra in a press release.
Emma de Sousa, group managing director Access Recruitment, a division of the Access Group added, “Bringing HireAra into the Access family further strengthens our RecOS, underscores our commitment to innovation in the recruitment technology space and demonstrates how AI is becoming a transformative force for recruiters, helping them streamline processes and deliver more personalised candidate experiences.”
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition follows Access Group’s acquisition of Elay
