Temporary employment in France fell by 6.2%, or 48,700 jobs in the second quarter to 735,100 temp jobs, according to data released 6 August by Insee, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies in France.

Temp employment in the second quarter was down 0.1%, or 700 jobs, compared to the first quarter.

Total private employment in France was down 7,900 jobs year over year to a total of 21.2 million.
