Tech Mahindra (TECHM:NSI), the Pune, India-based IT services giant, opened a new Americas headquarters in Plano, Texas.

It’s Tech Mahindra’s 19th office in the US, and the location was chosen for its business environment and access to a diverse talent pool. The new office will also further expand the company’s workforce, which already includes more than 150,000 employees across more than 90 countries.

“This space will enable us to enhance our innovation offerings, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and cybersecurity, delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet evolving industry needs,” Lakshmanan Chidambaram, president and head of Americas Leadership Council and Tech Mahindra Americas Head at Mahindra Group, said in a press release.

The new facility covers 27,000 square feet and accommodates 130 seats.

In addition, the new facility will include an innovation lab, which will serve as a centre of excellence focused on development technologies.
