Tandym Group, a New York-based IT and locum tenens staffing provider, on Dec. 17 announced a strategic realignment of its clinical healthcare business.
Plans call for the firm’s direct-hire teams to focus on boutique specialty roles for physicians, nurse practitioners and advanced practice providers. Meanwhile, its clinical contract, workforce and managed solutions businesses will expand and align with the direct hire teams.
As part of the realignment, Tandym Group has partnered with Everly Talent, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based female-founded recruitment firm. Everly Talent will manage direct-hire nursing, allied health, social services, leadership and corporate positions within the healthcare and non-profit sectors.
The company said the transition underscores its focus on core strengths while ensuring continuity and service excellence through a human-centered, AI-assisted approach.
“Tandym has always been driven by our dedication to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients and candidates,” Tandym Group CEO Byrne Mulrooney said in a press release. “This decision enables us to sharpen our focus on core areas while partnering with a trusted team to continue providing outstanding service in the areas transitioning to Everly Talent.”
Founded in 2024, Everly Talent is owned by former Tandym Group leaders and staffed by employees who previously supported these positions and clients at Tandym. Both companies will collaborate during the transition.
“We’re excited about this new chapter,” Katie Niekrash, founding partner of Everly Talent, said in a press release. “Our shared history with Tandym Group lays the foundation for a strong partnership as we move forward. Together, we are committed to achieving success for the clients and candidates we serve.”
The move follows Tandym Group’s March acquisition of Kolter Solutions, a Maitland, Florida-based IT staffing firm.
Founded in 1985, Tandym Group, formerly The Execu|Search Group, is a portfolio company of Mill Rock Capital and ICG. It is ranked by SIA as the 51st-largest IT staffing firm in the US.
