Two European providers of software to staffing firms are joining forces. In an announcement on 5 September, zvoove said it acquired Freematica, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of ERP software for staffing.

The deal, which closed at the end of August, solidifies zvoove’s presence in Europe and extends its reach into Latin America with Freematica’s offices in Mexico and Colombia, according to the company.

“The acquisition of Freematica is a pivotal step in our growth strategy,” zvoove CEO Oliver Muhr said in a press release. “By joining forces with Freematica, we not only strengthen our market leadership in the temporary staffing industries in Europe by entering the Spanish market, one of the biggest markets in Europe, we also become a leading software provider to the private security industry and gain a first foothold in the Americas.”

All of Freematica’s and zvoove’s staff will remain and Freematica products will remain as they are.

Based in Lohne, Germany, zvoove provides both front- and back-office software for staffing firms.

Freematica’s ERP works with staffing firms as well as security and cleanings agencies in Spain.

“We are thrilled to become part of zvoove,” Freematica co-founder Andrés Martín said in a press release. “Our combined expertise and resources will provide unparalleled value to our existing and new clients and the industry as a whole.”

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
