Staffing hours hold steady: SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator

US temporary staffing hours remained near their highest year-to-date levels the week ended Nov. 16, according to the SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator - November 26, 2024 report.
Still, both commercial and professional staffing hours declined year over year.
On a week-over-week basis, commercial staffing hours edged up 0.5%, while professional temporary staffing hours were down 1.9%.
The report noted that the slight ramp-up in staffing volume over the past month aligns with a common seasonal pattern of increased activity related to end-of-year holiday consumer spending.
