Every week, SIA highlights a 2024 Staffing 100 Europe honouree — a leader whose vision is shaping the world of work. 

This week, we feature Andreu Cruañas, President, ASEMPLEO, the leading Association of Employment Agencies and Temporary Employment Companies in Spain.

Most recently, Cruañas facilitated the unrestricted operation of employment agencies in the public sector and championed social dialogue on their role in the labour market. 

Cruañas is also a member of the governing body of the World Employment Confederation, a Public Employment Service executive committee member, VP of the National Employment Council of the Spanish government and secretary general of the Coordenadas Institute which develops thought leadership and undertakes research into the interaction between governance and applied economics in order to make constructive and decisive progress in social wellbeing, economic progress and environmental sustainability .
