Japanese staffing firm Quick Co announced that it would dissolve and liquidate its Chinese subsidiary, Shanghai Quick Human Resources Service.
Shanghai Quick Human Resources Service provides support to local Japanese companies in China and provides recruitment services for the Chinese market.
Due to a decline in overall business performance, the company has assessed the management efficiency of the entire group and decided to proceed with the dissolution and liquidation of the business.
The liquidation will be completed as soon as the necessary procedures are completed in accordance with local laws.
Quick said the impact of the dissolution on the financial results for the current consolidated fiscal year will be minor. It added that if any matters that require disclosure arise in the future, it will disclose them promptly.
Quick reported revenue for the first six months ended 30 September 2024 of JPY 17.14 billion (USD 112.2 million), an increase of 8.5% compared to the previous year.
