Indian staffing firm Quess Corp announced it has acquired the food catering and facility management services business of Archer Integrated Services Private Limited and Astrin Traders and Supplies.

The deal involves selling the business as a whole for a lump sum cash payment without assigning specific values to individual assets or liabilities, as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.

A total cash payment of up to INR 110 million (USD 1.3 million) will be made to Archer and Astrin in instalments, subject to meeting certain agreed conditions outlined in the business transfer agreements.

The acquisition will take effect before 31 March 2025. No governmental or regulatory approvals are required for the acquisition.

Quess Corp stated that the acquisition will allow its Operating Asset Management (OAM) business to expand its food business geographically within the manufacturing sector, focusing on key industrial regions in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. It will also empower the business team of Quess Corp to offer integrated solutions (facility management, housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, and food services) in Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh.
