In its earnings announcement on 13 February, Kelly Services (NASDAQ: KELYA, KELYB) reported that President and CEO Peter Quigley will retire by the end of the year.

“Quigley’s leadership and passion for serving customers and talent have been instrumental to Kelly’s transformation into a leading global specialty talent solutions provider,” the company said in a press release.

A process has begun to find Quigley’s successor, and the company’s board plans to consider internal and external candidates.

Quigley, who turns 64 in April, had a career that includes 22 years with Kelly.

He was named CEO in 2019 and served as an officer in key roles prior to that, including general counsel and chief administrative officer as well as president of global staffing.

Quigley appeared on SIA’s Staffing 100 North America list of the most influential people in the industry in 2025.

The move follows the retirement in 2024 of former CFO Olivier Thirot. The CFO role is now filled by Troy R. Anderson.

Kelly also announced earnings on 13 February.
