Charterhouse, a recruitment firm based in Singapore, announced that Gary Lai has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer, APAC. Lai began his 13-year tenure with the group as managing director for the South East Asia region. He further advanced his role by overseeing Charterhouse Hong Kong and subsequently took on the additional responsibility of establishing CH Talent Resources in Singapore. His prior experience includes roles with Robert Walters both in Singapore and Shanghai, and the Singapore Stock Exchange.

“With his expanded role to oversee the Asia-Pacific region, the Charterhouse Group look forward to achieving greater success under his capable stewardship,” the company stated in a press release.

Lai will be based at Charterhouse Asia’s regional headquarters in Singapore, overseeing the company’s strategic initiatives, client relationships, and operational excellence across the Asia-Pacific region.

NRG, a UK recruitment firm, announced that the group and its RPO division Greenbean have made a series of pivotal promotions within their senior leadership team. The group said the strategic appointments underscore the company’s commitment to investing in its people and driving forward its ambitious growth strategy across the UK.

Key appointments include:

  • Kerri Rankin, promoted to Director of Operations
  • Julie Mordue, elevated to Associate Director of Marketing & Partnerships
  • Georgia Scott, advanced to Associate Director of Volume Solutions
  • Matt Lazenby, appointed Associate Director of Strategic Hiring

Leanne Chambers, Managing Director of NRG and Greenbean, said in a press release, “These newly promoted leaders will play a pivotal role in leveraging the combined strengths of both NRG and Greenbean, enhancing our Talent Advisory and HR Services.”

London-based HR software firm Cezanne HR announced the appointment of Simon Noble as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Simon joined the business just under 18 months ago as its Chief Commercial Officer. With over 25 years’ experience in delivering digital transformations and people-orientated leadership at companies including Oracle, SAP and CoreHR (now Access Group), he’s since worked closely with Cezanne’s founder, Alberto Gabbai: becoming a key driver in the company’s continued success within the HRIS (HR information system) market.
