ShiftKey, a healthcare talent platform operating on the 1099 model, promoted Bhavna Kamalia to CFO.  Kamalia joined the company in 2021 and previously served as executive VP of finance and accounting. She has worked in several different roles across sectors after starting her career at Cars.com.

Revature, a staffing firm operating on the hire-train-deploy model, announced this week that Tan Moorthy is now chief operating officer. Moorthy has more than 30 years of experience in the IT services industry. He most recently served as head of delivery operations in the US, Canada and Latin America. Prior to Revature, Moorthy had served at Infosys as global head of education, training and assessment. Moorthy formally took on the role in August.

Arctiq, an IT solutions and staffing provider based in Irvine, California, appointed Chris Autry as VP of sales for the US central region. Autry has more than 25 years of experience in IT, business consulting and cybersecurity. In his new role, Autry will spearhead Arctiq’s strategic expansion into the central and southern regions with a focus on building relationships with enterprise clients.

Lexitas, a provider of legal staffing and other services to the legal industry, appointed Robert Hopen as chief revenue officer. Hopen previously held leadership roles at Epiq, including president of class action and restructuring solutions. His past experience includes sales and customer experience leadership positions at Bloomberg, Intelligize and Wolters Kluwer.

Executive search firm Focus Search Partners named Kate McLellan as managing partner of interim leadership solutions. McLellan joins Focus Search Partners from Korn Ferry, where she served as managing partner, directing interim solutions within private equity and life sciences. A 30-year industry veteran, McLellan also served as managing partner of Patina Solutions, which Korn Ferry acquired in 2022. Prior to this, she was partner and CEO of The Pentad Group, a consulting firm she founded in 2004. Focus Search Partners is a division of Vaco.

Ferguson Partners named Robert Mayes as senior managing director of its executive search practice in the western region of the US. Mayes most recently served as senior client partner in Korn Ferry’s real estate practice and has more than 20 years of senior-level executive search and human capital advisory experience. Mayes previously served as managing director at Ferguson Partners from 2001 to 2008.  He will be based in Los Angeles.

Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa named Benjamin Klafter as managing director of client development for its interim legal talent team. Klafter is based in Las Vegas and will focus on the Nevada, Orange County and San Diego markets. He has more than 15 years of experience in business development, sales and partnerships.
