International recruitment firm Robert Walters (RWA:LSE) appointed David Barr as recruitment outsourcing chief operating officer, with responsibility for global growth. Barr is returning to Robert Walters and has over 20 years of experience at the firm, where he spent time in the company’s Specialist Professional Recruitment and Recruitment Outsourcing service lines. He was a co-founder of Resource Solutions’ Asia Pacific operations. (Resource Solutions is the previous brand name of the Recruitment Outsourcing service line.) Prior to leaving Resource Solutions and relocating to his home country of Australia, Barr was the Asia Pacific managing director. While away from Robert Walters, Barr held roles at Korn Ferry and Allegis. He will be based in Singapore.

Veterinarian staffing company IndeVets appointed Eric Zlotogura as VP of service delivery and Sierra Westfall as director of growth. Zlotogura brings 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, where he focused on team building and recruitment for a variety of professions. Westfall has 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, specializing in contract negotiations, service line performance and mergers and acquisitions. She will support IndeVets’ hospital success and service delivery teams.

Michigan-based staffing firm Huffmaster Management promoted Margaret Sanders to director of operations within the company’s Protective Services Group, a division providing safety and security. Sanders will work closely with the company’s Manned Guarding and VirSec groups to protect customers’ physical and digital assets. Sanders has more than 20 years of security experience, with the last two and a half years as manager of Huffmaster’s VirSec.

Encore Funding, an alternative lender targeting the staffing and transportation industries, appointed Dale Busbee as VP of business development. He previously spent over 14 years as senior VP of business development for national companies eCapital and Prosperity Funding. Busbee’s specialties include factoring, accounts receivable finance, asset-based lending, purchase order finance and payroll funding.

Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa, part of the Allegis Group, announced Mauricio Gonzalez joined the firm as a managing director in its Partner Practice Group in Northern California. He is a litigator and regulatory counsel with experience in multiple jurisdictions and industries. Gonzalez has also worked as a litigation consultant for law firms and served as outside and in-house counsel for various sectors including financial services, technology and media.
