Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa appointed Sarah Van Steenburg as managing director for its partner practice group. Van Steenburg rejoins the firm after serving as a consultant at global executive search firm Spencer Stuart, where she specialized in C-suite, general counsel and board searches across multiple industry sectors. During her previous tenure at Major, Lindsey & Africa from 2010 to 2022, Van Steenburg co-led a managing partners forum, founded a Women of Color attorneys’ group and developed expertise in working with senior-level government officials. She will be based in Washington.
