LRS Healthcare, a provider of healthcare staffing services and part of Jackson Healthcare, appointed Kim Howard as president. In addition to her new role, she will maintain her responsibilities as president of Jackson Nurse Professionals. Prior to joining the Jackson Healthcare family of companies, Howard was chief client officer at Nomad Health, a digital marketplace for healthcare staffing. Howard has been recognized on Staffing Industry Analysts’ Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list.
Apex Placement and Consulting hired Gerry Spencer as the president of the staffing solutions company. She will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations across the Northeastern US, including business development, client acquisition and team management. Spencer previously was regional VP, director and senior branch manager at Adecco.
Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY) elected Russ Hagey, a long-tenured leader at Bain & Co., to the executive search firm’s board of directors. Hagey has served at Bain & Co. for more than four decades, most recently as a senior partner and the company’s chief leadership officer and prior to that as its worldwide chief talent officer. Hagey also previously served as chair of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and sat on the board of directors of LA’s BEST, a nationally recognized after-school program.
The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations elected David Feinberg, senior VP of risk and insurance programs for Justworks, as chair of the association’s board of directors during its Annual Conference & Marketplace in Orlando. He succeeds Steven Politis, chief executive officer of Alcott HR.
Heidrick & Struggles International (NASDAQ: HSII) appointed Vijaya Kaza and Timothy Carter to its board of directors as independent directors, effective immediately. The company also announced that long-serving board member Lyle Logan left the board effective Sept. 26. Kaza currently serves as chief security officer and VP, engineering – trust and safety at Airbnb, and Carter is the former CFO of Piper Sandler Cos. The board now comprises nine directors, eight of whom are independent.
Healthcare staffing provider OnCall Solutions announced Maryellen Lively, a director with OnCall LLC, will assume the role of managing director of its new division, OnCall Educational Outreach Services (OnCall EOS). Lively has more than two decades of experience working with health departments across the country. OnCall EOS provides the relevant infrastructure required to launch public health detailing campaigns: recruiting, temporary staffing and management of skilled public health representatives, training, CRM systems and reporting, data analysis, and operational support.
International recruitment firm Ambition announced Erin Lawler joined the firm in New York as US client and markets advisor. Lawler has more than 20 years of experience in AmLaw 100 firms, having held marketing and business development positions at several BigLaw firms. In addition, Lawler worked for an international insurance organization, first in its litigation management unit and then in business development. In the US, Ambition recruits for positions in marketing, business development and communications.
Executive search firm Stanton Chase appointed Meredith Harper Bonham as director and education sector lead, with a focus on higher education within the firm’s social impact practice. Before joining Stanton Chase, Harper Bonham was managing director for another retained executive search firm, where she worked with nonprofit, higher education and healthcare clients.
Legal staffing provider Lateral Link announced Robin Wexler joined the firm as senior principal. Wexler started her career clerkship at the US Tax Court and subsequently practiced at several law firms before taking on a senior counsel role at a leading financial services company.
