CrossMed Healthcare named Chris Johnson as president. Johnson will oversee operations, business development, sales and day-to-day management. Johnson joined the company in 2020 serving as chief sales officer. He succeeds Bridget Weber, who joined the company in 2020.

The Liberty Group, a multifamily staffing and property management recruitment firm, appointed Chandra Pappas as chief operating officer. Pappas has more than 20 years of experience in talent management. Her previous roles included COO at Nelson Cos. and senior VP at Randstad Professionals.

Staffmark Group appointed Barbara Simmer as executive VP for Staffmark commercial operations. Simmer has 20 years of industry leadership experience. She has held multiple roles in commercial operations, most recently serving as senior VP of digital staffing transformation and played a role in Staffmark’s collaboration with Indeed Flex.

TrueBlue (NYSE: TBI) promoted Jason Embick to the role of senior VP and chief accounting officer, effective Aug. 19. Embick joined TrueBlue in March 2020 as VP, corporate controller. He previously worked at The Walt Disney Co. from April 2011 to February 2020. Prior to that, he was director of transaction support and financial reporting at Live Nation Entertainment. Embick succeeds Richard Christensen, who is transitioning to the role of senior VP of risk, treasury and corporate development.

Executive search provider True named Tom Granado as head of talent advisory for North America. Granado had founded his own business, Atomic Talent, to serve private equity and venture capital clients.
