People on the move: APSCo Outsource, Ramp Global, Romanian Software

APSCo (The Association of Professional Staffing Companies) OutSource, the trade body for the professional recruitment outsourcing sector, has appointed Brian Huggett as its new managing director.

Huggett brings a wealth of experience working in corporate talent sourcing and recruitment roles, including time spent at PwC, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, Lloyds Banking Group and Deutsche Bank. Throughout his career he has rolled out global and local RPO and MSP programmes, built out new offices across European locations and successfully managed the transition to IR35 regulations for large contractor books.

Dan Martin has been appointed global advisor at Ramp Global, an HR tech firm. Martin’s career of over 25 years encompasses both corporate finance experience and leadership roles in high-growth tech businesses. His M&A experience includes roles at Morgan Stanley, EY, and Deloitte and headed up the M&A team at DMGT. His operational leadership roles have included eight years as managing director at Broadbean Technology, where he oversaw the successful exit of the business to CareerBuilder.

Martin will focus on advising the board on key initiatives and growth strategies, particularly in the US market, as well as ensuring the company remains aligned on its strategic goals for 2025 and beyond.

Romanian Software, a part of SD Worx and a Romanian-based provider for payroll and human resources software solutions, announced the appointment of Ciprian Chiorean as its new managing director. This nomination comes following the company’s integration into SD Worx. Chiorean has over 20 years of experience in managing and implementing complex process and technology transformation projects in global multinational companies, with a particular focus on the human resources domain. He has managed and implemented transformational business across Europe and Asia. Chiorean succeeds Victor Dragomirescu, former CEO and founder of Romanian Software.
