Arora has extensive experience of more than two decades in industries such as Media and HR Services Outsourcing. She started her career with The Times of India group and was working with TeamLease Services Pvt. Ltd. before joining Gi Group. In both industries, she has handled key responsibilities for Business Planning & Strategy, P&L (profit and loss) growth and Operations. Within HR Services, Sonal has been involved in successfully building multiple business lines in the areas of staffing, payroll outsourcing and compliances from grounds up.

Specialist search and recruitment firm Frazer Jones appointed Angela Franks as an executive director in Australia. In her new role, Franks aims to further build the Frazer Jones brand and lead its HR recruitment team across Australia. According to Frazer Jones her appointment will further strengthen the APAC management team across its 4 offices in the region. She previously worked with Macmillan Davies for more than 14 years.

UK-based recruitment platform Totaljobs announced that Group CEO and StepStone group managing director Patrick Wehrmann will take over the role of chief people officer and managing director for Totaljobs Group’s parent company StepStone at the start of 2020. Wehrmann joined StepStone 2012 as member of the supervisory board. Before joining StepStone as Group Managing Director, Patrick served as Managing Director of Axel Springer Digital Classifieds. In his new role as Chief People Officer/Managing Director for StepStone, Wehrmann will be responsible for all people related matters, business transformation as well as Mergers and Acquisitions.
