Dutch staffing firm Otto Workforce announced Raymond Puts will be the new CEO effective 1 April 2025.

He will succeed previous CEO Frank van Gool and prior vice-CEO Karolina Swoboda, who announced last month that they would be leaving the company.

Puts has over 20 years of experience in the temporary employment sector, including as CEO of USG People Nederland. He holds multiple board positions including as a member of the advisory board of UWV (a public body responsible for employee insurance and labour market services in the Netherlands).

For the past five years, he has been the general manager of the general employers’ association, AWVN.

“Otto Work Force is a socially very committed company and operates within a dynamic international playing field. I am very motivated to put my shoulder to the wheel in the coming years,” Puts said in a press release.

Outgoing CEO van Gool also commented on the appointment.

“The company is in better shape than ever and this is a great moment to pass the baton,” van Gool said. “Raymond Puts has everything it takes to lead Otto in the coming years, and we place that responsibility in his hands with complete confidence.”

Van Gool and Swoboda will step down from their roles with effect from March 2025.

“After 25 years of strong entrepreneurship by Frank and Karolina, it was crucial to find a good successor”, added Dolph Westerbos, CEO of Outsourcing International, the parent organisation of OTTO Work Force. “With Raymond, we have found the perfect leader. He brings industry expertise, a strong network in the Dutch government and a deep commitment to employee well-being and labour migration.”
