ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN) has updated its key leadership in Europe. The global staffing firm announced the changes in its Europe region on Dec. 9.

The company appointed David Herranz as regional president, Southern Europe, and he will oversee operations across the region with the exception of France. Herranz will report to chair and CEO Jonas Prising.

“David brings exceptional industry experience and a proven track record of market development and fostering deep client relationships across our European operations,” Prising said in a press release.

In addition, Riccardo Barberis will take on responsibility for France as well as continuing to serve as regional president, Northern Europe. Barberis will start overseeing the French business with the end-of-year retirement of Alain Roumilhac.

“I am also delighted that Riccardo will expand his leadership, taking on responsibilities for France, our largest market, alongside the newly appointed Country Manager Benoît Derigny,” Prising said. “Both David and Riccardo exemplify ManpowerGroup’s values, and I am confident they will strengthen our market leadership while accelerating our Diversification, Digitization, and Innovation strategy across Europe.”

Herranz joined ManpowerGroup in 2021 to lead sales and the Manpower brand across Europe. Prior to joining the company, Herranz held industry leadership positions in Spain, Latin America and the US. He currently resides in Spain.

Barberis joined ManpowerGroup in 1998 and has held numerous leadership positions in Europe and Latin America. He appears on this year’s Staffing 100 Europe list.
