Magnit, a provider of VMS, MSP and other services, appointed Chandra Dhandapani as CEO. Dhandapani formerly served as CEO of global workplace solutions at CBRE, a commercial real estate firm. Other roles she held at CBRE include chief digital officer and chief transformation officer. Prior to CBRE, Dhandapani held various leadership roles at Capital One.

“I am deeply honored to lead Magnit into its next chapter of transformation and growth,” Dhandapani said in a press release.

In addition, Magnit reported that John Driscoll was newly appointed as board chairperson and that longtime staffing executive Rebecca Henderson joined its board as well.

Dhandapani takes over from Teresa Carroll, who is stepping down as CEO as part of a planned transition, Magnit reported.

“I have been privileged to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team and am proud of what we have accomplished together,” Carroll said in a press release. “I am committed to supporting Magnit as an advisor through this transition period and am confident that Chandra will take the company to new heights.”

Driscoll welcomed Dhandapani to the board as well.

“Her exceptional leadership and drive, expertise in digital transformation and track record of delivering for clients make her an ideal choice for this role,” Driscoll said in a press release. “I would like to thank Teresa for her service, and I am excited to work with our board, [investors] EQT Partners and Harvest Partners as we shape the next chapter in contingent workforce management for our clients, employees and suppliers.”

Driscoll himself most recently served as president of US healthcare and executive VP at Walgreens Boots Alliance. Before that, he was CEO of CareCentrix, a tech-enabled healthcare company. He is a longtime senior advisor to EQT Partners, an investment firm that includes Magnit in its portfolio.

Henderson, who joined Magnit’s board, previously served as CEO of global business at Randstad, overseeing the staffing giant’s portfolio that included Randstad Sourceright, Monster and RiseSmart. Prior to that, Henderson was CEO of Randstad Sourceright.

Both Henderson and Carroll are in SIA’s Staffing 100 North America Hall of Fame.
