Luke Holdings, a Florida-based healthcare staffing firm, acquired Coastal Clinical Management Services. Both firms provide healthcare staffing to federal government customers.

The deal closed June 14.

Luke Holdings reported the acquisition will strengthen its Department of Homeland Security offerings and increase its capacity to provide comprehensive caregiver and healthcare workers services to US government agencies.

“By integrating CCMS’ expertise and resources, Luke aims to fortify its capabilities in delivering best-in-class staffing solutions and fulfilling its mission of care,” Luke CEO John Sanders said in a press release.

Luke Holdings is based in Rockledge, Florida, and is a portfolio company of venture capital firm M33 Growth. CCMS is based in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

“The integration of our companies will not only bolster our position in the market but also enable us to better serve our customers by combining best practices and capitalizing on each of our strengths,” Julia Mutch, CEO of CCMS, said in a press release.

Mutch is retiring after the deal.

Plans call for the CCMS brand to eventually operate under the Luke name, but there will be a transition time and contracts secured under CCMS remain under that brand, the company said in a note to SIA.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
