Healthcare staffing firm LiquidAgents Healthcare has acquired the travel nurse and travel allied health business from Irving, Texas-based Republic Healthcare. The acquisition was announced on Nov. 21. Republic Health will continue as a standalone company with its remaining businesses.
“As we continue to grow, this acquisition represents an exciting step forward in our mission to deliver unmatched support to healthcare workers and clients everywhere,” LiquidAgents CEO Sheldon Arora said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to welcome Republic’s healthcare professionals to the LiquidAgents family.”
This was a strategic decision and move for LiquidAgents, the company said in a statement to SIA. The acquisition enables the company to expand in a market it knows.
“Republic Health Resources’ long-standing relationship with LaborEdge, our sister company, and our strong connection with their CEO made the transition seamless,” according to LiquidAgents. “This acquisition enhances our position and reflects our ability to capitalize on strategic opportunities.”
The deal closed Nov. 21. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
LiquidAgents, based in Plano, Texas, ranks No. 74 on SIA’s list of largest US healthcare staffing firms.
