Life Design Technologies (LTD) announced that it has acquired all shares of Medical Job Center, a recruitment and temporary staffing service for medical care, nursing care, and childcare. Both companies are based in Japan.

Financial details were not disclosed.

LTD is involved in the AgeTech field. It operates an AgeTech platform business, an AgeTech-related software development and provision business and an AgeTech-related consulting business. AgeTech refers to technologies and services designed to improve the lives of older people.

With this deal, the company aims to leverage synergies in the senior living, medical, nursing and healthcare fields, as well as expand the services offered by Medical Job Center.

LTD operates a recruitment support business called ‘Smart Funeral Job’ that specialises in the funeral industry. By providing recruitment support that takes into account the characteristics of the funeral industry, we have been able to alleviate the labour shortage within the industry and contribute to the provision of high-quality services.

The company said that by utilising the extensive experience and know-how of “Smart Funeral Job” and Medical Job Center, the company hopes to create a synergistic effect and enhance the content of its services. In addition, by providing total services in the AgeTech field, it will realise higher quality services and meet the needs of its users.
