Javelin IT Consulting and Staffing has acquired Iris Consulting, an IT staffing provider based in Minneapolis. The deal closed on Dec. 24, 2024.

“We are optimistic that we’ll see increased demand for IT resources in the next few years,” the company said in a note to SIA. “By joining forces, Javelin and Iris will be poised to provide even better support to our clients and consultants.”

Iris Consulting will continue to operate as an independent entity.

“This partnership will enable us to enhance our service capabilities, offer broader technical expertise and provide greater opportunities for our clients, consultants and internal staff,” Dan Jones, president and CEO of Iris Consulting, said in a press release.

Iris Consulting employees will continue in their current roles to ensure continuity for clients.

“We are thrilled to welcome Iris Consulting to the Javelin ITCS family,” Jim McNabb, CEO of Atlanta-based Javelin, said in a press release. “Iris’ reputation for excellence and their deep client relationships makes them a natural fit as we expand our footprint and service offerings.”

Terms of the transaction were not announced.
