Provisions Group, an IT staffing provider based in Franklin, Tennessee, acquired Hammrtech, a Knoxville, Tennessee-based AI-powered tech solution provider focused on cybersecurity, cloud services and software development.

The deal expands Provisions Group’s presence in Knoxville, where it will maintain a satellite office and existing team.

The transaction closed July 19; financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2003, Provisions Group provides marketing; healthcare IT; customer relationship management; application development; data and analytics; infrastructure and cloud services; and security and compliance. It has served more than 1,000 clients and placed more than 6,000 candidates.

The acquisition strengthens Provisions Group’s expertise in cybersecurity, software, cloud services and AI solutions.

Both companies will work closely to integrate operations and services.

“Hammrtech is celebrating its 15th year in business, and I’m excited to continue this expansion with Provisions Group,” Hammrtech CEO and AI specialist Andrew Ditmer said in a press release. “We have been heavily investing in AI over the past few years, including with our new AI product. This new partnership will allow us to further invest in and grow our AI offerings on a broader scale.” 

Ditmer will continue to work with Provisions Group, developing AI products and assisting clients with AI technologies.  

Hammrtech was founded in 2009.
