Ingenovis Health, the eighth-largest US healthcare staffing firm, named Benjamin Mirtes as its new CEO and Michael Flaim as its new CFO. Ingenovis is a portfolio company of Cornell Capital and Trilantic North America.

Mirtes is taking on the CEO role after having served as CFO since 2021, taking over from Bart Valdez. The company said Valdez will transition away from the firm by the end of the year.

Valdez was formally named CEO in June 2021 at Fastaff, US Nursing and other firms, which later became Ingenovis. He appeared on last year’s Staffing 100 list.

“With Ben’s financial and strategic expertise leveraging advanced data and technology, we are confident he is the right leader to drive the company’s continued growth and success as CEO,” Stephen Trevor, partner at Cornell Capital, said in a press release. “We thank Bart for his many years of dedication to building the Ingenovis platform and wish him the best in his next chapter.”

Incoming CEO Mirtes has played a role in helping the firm surpass $1.5 billion in revenue, according to the company.

Flaim, the new CFO, joined the company in October. He served as CFO at MGA Homecare, a provider of home health services to pediatric patients, prior to joining Ingenovis, the company said in a note to SIA. Flaim also spent more than a decade at DaVita, holding multiple financial leadership roles including VP of finance and head of enterprise financial planning and analysis.

Ingenovis was formed by the combination of Trustaff, CadioSolution, Fastaff Travel Nursing, US Nursing and Stella.ai.

Ingenovis’ brands include Trustaff Travel Nurses, Fastaff Travel Nursing, Healthcare Support, USN, Vista Staffing Solutions, Springboard Healthcare, VitalSolution and Corazon.
