Hedera Group, a healthcare staffing provider based in Stockholm, Sweden, has recruited Maria Isendahl as the company’s new CFO.

She will take up her position on 1 April and will be a part of Hedera Group’s management team.

Isendahl replaces Per J Levin, who previously announced that he would leave his CFO position at the end of February.

Hedera Group said that during March, responsibility for the group’s finance function will be distributed internally.

Isendahl recently came from fashion-store Lindex where she was head of controlling & financial planning. Before that, she worked with Business Control and internal audit at Volvo Group, and as an auditor at Ernst & Young.

Johan Sandström, Group CEO at Hedera Group, said in a press release (translated from Swedish), “I am very pleased that Maria has accepted the role of CFO for Hedera Group. She has broad experience working in various industries and roles within finance. Maria’s experience in auditing combined with business-related work with strategy, analysis and control will be an asset in the company’s continued development.”

Isendahl added, “I am honoured and excited to take on the role of CFO at Hedera Group. From my recent time in the fashion industry, I bring with me experience of navigating a dynamic and fast-moving environment, with a focus on business acumen, creativity and customer value.”

“My main focus will be to drive towards the company’s long-term financial goals and to strengthen financial sustainability,” she continued.

Hedera Group reported revenue for the third quarter ended 30 September 2024 of SEK 130.9 million (€11.3 million), a decrease of 26.0% compared to last year.
