HeadFirst Group appointed Willem Verhaagen as chief financial officer, effective 1 Feb. He takes over from Marjolein Slappendel.
Varhaagen most recently served as group CFO at EyeCare Group. However, he began his career at Randstad in 2007 as manager of finance and control, later holding several leadership roles, including various CFO positions in the Netherlands and internationally.
“His international track record as CFO makes him a valuable addition to our executive team. Together we will take the next step in our growth ambitions,” HeadFirst Group CEO Marion van Happen said in a press release.
Verhaagen forms the management board of HeadFirst Group together with van Happen, CCO Renger Lammers and COO Arco Elsman.
“With my start at HeadFirst Group, I return to the HR and recruitment sector, a sector that is constantly on the move,” Verhaagen said in a press release. “The dynamics and energy that this sector and HeadFirst Group bring with it, appeal to me a lot.”
