Two Dutch employment firms, MF Uitzendbureau (employment agency) and Abiant Uitzendgroep (employment group), have joined forces under the unified name Abiant.
Both agencies are part of Abiant Holding, an employment agency in the Northern Netherlands.
The companies said that with their extensive networks of clients and flex workers, ‘they make an important contribution to employment in the region’.
“By joining forces under one recognisable name, we are bundling these forces,” Abiant stated. “In this way, we can connect even more companies and job seekers and take an even stronger position on the labour market in the North.”
Abiant Holding comprises eleven employment agencies in Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
Albert Jan Jongsma, general manager of Abiant Holding, said in a press release, “MF Uitzendbureau has been part of Abiant Holding since 2015. In recent years, Abiant and MF have increasingly collaborated. By really continuing together now, we can benefit even more from each other’s knowledge and expertise. That makes us stronger and more flexible, also for the future.”
Jongsma added that the merger will not impact the employees of either MF or Abiant and said the culture will stay intact.
