Deel, the US-based HR and payroll company, has acquired Hofy, a London-headquartered device supply and management company.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Hofy adds a new business line to Deel’s HR & payroll suite. The company sends company devices (i.e. phones and laptops) to newly onboarded workers in more than 127 countries. It offers full end-to-end IT lifecycle management, from device delivery, collection, repair and replacement, to managing the employee on and offboarding process, device security, pre-configuration, and data erasure. Hofy counts Canva, Forbes, Fujitsu, GoDaddy, and HelloFresh as customers.
While the acquisition closed last week, the complete integration will take several months as Deel prepares to launch a brand new offering: Deel IT. Deel IT will be an end-to-end IT suite and will include services like software provisioning, app access management, integrations with mobile device management (MDM) and identity tools. Deel plans to launch Deel IT in all markets later this year.
Sami Bouremoum, co-founder and CEO of Hofy, said in a press release, “Deel is building a simpler, better infrastructure for the future of work. A big part of scaling that infrastructure globally is having the right IT support in place - everything from equipment provisioning to lifecycle management.”
“Hofy and Deel together make perfect sense for companies as they look to consolidate their HR, payroll, and IT stacks into one cutting-edge platform. We’re thrilled to be part of this bold vision,” Bouremoum added.
