Customer service representatives are the top in-demand job in the US for 2025 as companies prioritize their customer experience, according to a report by Randstad USA.
The next most in-demand jobs are sales representatives and drivers. Randstad USA also noted financial analysts and bookkeepers are becoming indispensable, as organizations rely on data to make strategic choices. Meanwhile, surges in e-commerce and supply chain demands are increasing the need for drivers and warehouse laborers.
The company’s research is based on an analysis of 40 million job postings.
Here’s Randstad USA’s list of 15 most in-demand jobs for this year and their estimated annual salaries:
- Customer service representative: $37,000 to $47,000
- Sales representative: $56,000 to $68,000
- Driver: $38,000 to $42,000
- Warehouse laborer: $18 to $24 per hour based on role
- Forklift operator: $18 to $23 per hour based on role
- Receptionist: $35,000 to $42,000
- Machine operator: $18 to $24 per hour based on role
- Material handler: $17 to $22 per hour based on role
- Field service technician: $26 to $34 per hour based on role
- Financial analyst: $87,000 to $105,000
- Research associate: $88,617 to $172,624
- HR generalist: $62,000 to $90,000
- Bookkeeper: $42,000 to $52,000
- Electrician: $60,000 to $66,000
- Estimator: $75,000 to $90,000
