Conexis VMS appointed co-founder John Clark as president and CEO. The move was announced Feb. 10.
Co-founder Wayne Burgess will step down from the CEO role to one more focused on sales and marketing. Burgess will also still serve as chief financial officer of the vendor management system provider.
“I am thrilled to hand the company’s reins over to John, my partner in building Conexis to where it is in just a few short years,” Burgess said in a press release. “His leadership and energy, combined with his deep industry expertise, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our offerings and enhance our client experience.”
Clark has more than 20 years of experience in technology and management. He previously served as COO and chief growth officer.
“I am incredibly excited to enter 2025 in this new role, and I’m already enjoying the focus of taking Conexis to its next phase,” Clark said in a press release.
Clark appeared on SIA’s 40 Under 40 list in 2020.
