US staffing hours were down 6% year over year in the week ended Aug. 24, according to the SIA | Bullhorn Staffing Indicator - September 3, 2024, report. But they were up 0.8% on a week-over-week basis with growth of 1.2% in commercial staffing hours. Professional staffing hours were down 1.3% week over week.
