Cloud-based HR and payroll software provider Cezanne has acquired Occupop, a Dublin recruitment technology business.
The deal marks Cezanne’s first major acquisition since private equity firm NorthEdge completed a primary management buyout into the company in March 2023 and forms a key part of its growth plan to provide payroll solutions for its expanding customer base across the UK and internationally.
The investment was funded from NorthEdge’s SME Fund 1, Cezanne said in a statement at the time.
Occupop co-founders Caroline Gleeson and David Banaghan will join the Cezanne management team to support the continued growth of the combined business.
“By bringing Occupop’s technology into our wider product suite, we’re addressing a crucial part of the employee lifecycle — hiring — with a solution that makes recruitment incredibly easy and accessible to everyone,” Simon Noble, CEO of Cezanne, said in a press release on Wednesday.
The integration will boost Cezanne’s recruitment capabilities, providing customers with an intuitive, end-to-end solution for attracting, managing and retaining talent, it said.
“By integrating with Cezanne’s comprehensive platform, we can offer our customers a seamless experience across the entire employee lifecycle,” Gleeson added.
