HR services provider Career Design Center Co. Ltd. (2410:TYO) reported on 31 January revenue increased by 4.7% in the six months ended 31 December 2024.

The IT worker dispatch business and other businesses remained strong due to the implementation of measures to increase net sales, the company said. On the profit front, the group held a women’s fair in Kansai, intensified recruitment activities in the indefinite-term employment field of the IT worker dispatch business and enhanced other activities including advertising and human investment. Meanwhile, Career Design Center said it continued to hold down costs in a company-wide manner. As a result, ordinary profit also remained steady.

Revenue in the media information business was up by 1.4%. Revenue in the new graduate media business was down 8.9%.

Meanwhile, in the new graduate referral business, revenue rose 5.0%.

The group said its IT dispatch business saw revenue climb 12.6% year-on-year.

At the same time, revenue in the recruitment business was down 3.2% from the same period last year.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 19.00 billion (USD 122.8 million) for the year ended 30 September 2025.

Career Design Center shares closed at JPY 1,812.00 (USD 11.71) on 31 January, down 2.78% on the day and 15.72% below its 52-week high of JPY 2,150.00 (USD 13.89), set on 31 January 2024. The company has a market cap of JPY 9.69 billion (USD 62.6 million).
