Blue Chip Talent, a Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based staffing firm, acquired JDM Systems Consultants, a technology consulting firm providing IT solutions. The deal was finalized on Jan. 1.
The deal enables Blue Chip to expand its reach and better serve clients with a broader array of services and solutions.
Blue Chip Talent in a note to SIA said the timing of the acquisition was mutually beneficial for both organizations.
“Blue Chip Talent is actively pursuing strategic growth opportunities to expand our market presence,” according to the company. “JDM, with its strong legacy and roots in Metro Detroit, aligns perfectly with our vision. The JDM management team also recognized that Blue Chip Talent would continue providing the same high level of support to its consultants and clients, ensuring a seamless transition.”
JDM’s employees have transitioned to Blue Chip Talent. Jeff Magnell, a key leader at JDM, may be consulting with Blue Chip Talent on select projects, while other members of management are stepping back after 35 years at the helm.
“We are thrilled to welcome JDM’s team and clients into the Blue Chip Talent family, and we look forward to continuing to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions together,” Nicole Pawczuk, CEO of Blue Chip Talent, said in a press release.
Blue Chip Talent is a women-owned staffing firm and has appeared on SIA’s Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms list. It operates in more than 20 states and provides IT staffing.
JDM is based in Brighton, Michigan.
