Ascend Staffing acquired PDQ Staffing, a Texas-based light industrial and office/clerical staffing provider with 11 locations in Texas. The deal also includes CPI, an outplacement company, and Performance Search Group, a permanent placement business that focuses on office professionals.

The acquisition gives Ascend 50 offices across the US, and plans call for PDQ’s operations to take on the Ascend brand.

The deal closed in September. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Ascend has completed 14 acquisitions in the last seven years. It is based in North Salt Lake, Utah.

Recent acquisitions include Employee Solutions, which has offices in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma, and Apprentice Personnel in Colorado.
