Aplin, which ranks as one of the largest staffing providers in Canada, acquired Impact Recruitment, a Vancouver, Canada-based staffing firm.

Impact provides staffing in several areas, including professional staffing such as IT, insurance and legal as well as industrial and administrative staffing.

The deal took effect Nov. 7.

“We’re excited to welcome Impact Recruitment as part of the Aplin family,” Aplin CEO Jeff Aplin said in a press release. “This acquisition aligns with our growth strategy and enables us to serve our clients in British Columbia even better, all while maintaining the high-quality service and support they expect from us.”

Harris is staying on as advisor and principal.

Through the deal, Aplin will introduce Impact Recruitment’s salary guides as a value-added service for Aplin clients.

“Joining Aplin marks an exciting new chapter for Impact Recruitment, and we’re proud to align with a company that shares our dedication to excellent client service and industry expertise,” Impact Recruitment founder and CEO Jeff Harris said in a press release.

It will be business as usual for clients of both Aplin and Impact. Impact Recruitment will continue to operate under its current business model and leadership as an Aplin brand through 2025 with no immediate change to support levels, account teams, timelines or pricing.

The terms of the transaction are on an all-cash basis.
