Japanese technical staffing firm Altech Corp. (4641:JP) reported revenue yesterday for the full year ended 31 December 2023 of JPY 46.21 billion (USD 324.0 million), an increase of 5.9% when compared to the same period last year.

Altech Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, provides professional staffing services in the technical sector, primarily in Japan. The company also provides total staffing solutions for the healthcare sector and operates and manages private residential homes with nursing care.
The company said both the total number of staff in operation and the contract unit price have increased. Driven by these various factors in the engineer assignment business, revenue was up.
Net income was down due to the recording of amortisation of goodwill and other factors.
Revenue in the outsourcing serving business, the company’s main business, was up 7.2%. The segment involves the delivery of technical projects, office staff assignment, job placement, and other services, with a focus on engineer assignment.
In the global business, the company provides design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance services for plant facilities, machinery and equipment, and staffing services overseas. Revenue was up 13.9%.
Looking ahead, the company forecasted revenue of JPY 52.70 billion (USD 342.5 million) for the year ended 31 December 2025.
Altech Corp shares closed on 13 February at JPY 2,454.00 (USD 15.95), up 1.87% on the day and 15.00% above the 52-week low of JPY 2,134.00 (USD 13.87) set on 5 August 2024. The company has a market cap of JPY 52.63 billion (USD 342.0 million).
